Mary Emma Jones Phillips was born in 1898 in Forest Hills, Prince Edward Island. She spent her youth on a farm with her parents in Harrington, and would often sail on a skiff over to governors island to picnic. Mary died at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on January 9th, 2000 at the age of 102. She was the wife of Albert Phillips, mother of 4 children, grandmother of 13 children, and great grandmother of 13.
