Marion MacCannell

Marion MacCannell was born on Prince Edward Island in 1910. She attended Prince of Wales College where she obtained a teaching degree. She went on to teach at numerous locations, most notably North Wiltshire and Milton Schools. She also worked for a few years at the Prince Street Family Store. Marion died at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on June 19th, 2002 at the age of 93. She was the wife of A. Hamm MacCannell whom she married in 1931 and the two were together until his death in 1996. She was also the mother of 2 children, grandmother of 4, and great grandmother of 3. Marion was a member of the First United Baptist Church, the Dr. Zella Clark WMS, and a member of the Elizabeth Group. She also served on many Church committees and often shared her skills as a pianist with friends and family.
