Abstract
This is a lecture by Kenneth Nilsen titled "Faeries, Banshees, and Corpses: Standing on the Threshold of the Otherworld", where he discusses mythical creatures, Irish beliefs and rituals, Irish proverbs, describing the otherworld, leprechauns and banshees, and telling stories about the creatures and beliefs. The lecture also includes stories of Irish wakes and celebrations of life.
