The collection contains recordings of lectures delivered at the BIS Hall (now the Irish Cultural Centre) in Charlottetown during the years 1987 - 2011 on various aspects of Irish heritage and culture both in PEI and in Ireland.
Abstract:This is a lecture by Donnie Doyle titled "Along Lot 7 Shore- Part 2", where Donnie discusses early life in PEI, settlement of ancestors, Irish in St. Marks, alcohol and partying, folklore and folk songs, blacksmithing and retirement. This lecture is presented partially through music playing and singing.
