This is the eighth tape of several interviews with Captain Thomas Trenholm of Murray Harbour, P.E.I. Tom begins by telling about the end of the schooner Marine. He then talks about his father's love for schooners and tells stories of going to Barbados. Tom then talks about becoming first mate at age 15, captain at 17, and the sinking of the Douglas E. Parks. He then talks about his brothers Russell, who served in WWI, and Harry, who sailed on the Amazetia along with Russell.
