This is an interview with Laura Whitty (nee Gallant) of St. Charles, PEI. In this interview Laura talks about her family, the Spanish Flu, home remedies, stores, the 1930s, school, Christmas, working as a housekeeper, food, entertainment, homemade clothes and soap, berries, horses, house parties, snow, how she met her family, living in Saint John, cooking at a lobster factory, and various other topics.
