Abstract
This is the third of four tapes with Vincent Doroteo Elordieta of Georgetown, P.E.I. In this interview Vincent talks about different jobs on ships, working on ships during WWII, the Panama Canal, storms at sea, superstitions, Sundays and funerals at sea, forerunners, U-boats, laying cable during WWII, being torpedoed, battles at sea, the Merchant Navy, how he met his wife, and his family's history at sea.
