Abstract
This is the third of four tapes of interviews with Charles Marvin "Charlie" Bell of Charlottetown, P.E.I. In this interview Charlie talks about the Spanish Flu, breaking the roads, his father and his illnesses, his mother and her work as a postmistress, Eaton's catalogues, electricity, indoor plumbing, washing machines, Sundays, his grandparents and the Pleasant View Hotel, cars, teaching in Hampton, winter traveling, his family, home remedies, and loading potatoes.
