Abstract
This is an interview with John "Alfred" McGaughey of Bonshaw, P.E.I. In this interview Alfred talks about lime kilns, his family property, the McGaughey family history, the ghost at Todd's Hollow, horses, farming, general stores, butter and cheese factories, mills, traveling to Charlottetown, church, wakes and funerals, working on a survey ship for the Coast Guard, sleighs, cars, radio, and airplanes.
