Abstract
Charles CampBell gives a lecture at the B.I.S Irish Heritage Lecture Series titled "The Life and Legacy of Owen Connolly (1820-1887)" . Charles Campbell talks about the Life of Owen Connolly-a proprietor, farmer, merchanter and meat packer in his early days as he started out with a small scale business and made his way up to opening, owning and operating many businesses on a large scale. Campbell also talks about Owen Connolly's death and his will which is dissected and discussed in detailed. He also mentions what occurred after Mr. Connolly's death and what impact it has on the islanders of today (scholarship, fund).
