Abstract
This is an interview with Florence Charlotte "Flo" Turner of Pictou County, Nova Scotia. In this interview Flo talks about Captain Charlie Arbuckle, Tiny Mason, pie socials and chicken raffles, Castle Harris, her family, the Halifax Explosion, Stormy Sandy, catching the Spanish Flu, orphans, locals, and lobster canneries. At the end of the tape Flo plays some music on the piano.
