Abstract
This interview is with James Augustus "Gus" Gregory from Souris, P.E.I. Gus begins by telling about life in the 1930s, fishing, and his father. He then talks about farming, electricity, horses, and blacksmiths. Gus then goes on to tell about fishing and different factories and fishing operations in the Souris area. He tells stories about the MacDonalds, Captain Dicks and the Nellie J. Banks, and shares a lot of information about rum running and bootlegging during the prohibition.
