Abstract
In this interview with Tiger MacKie, he begins by telling about his grandson playing hockey in England. He then goes on to talk about working on the farm and at the brickworks, and rum running in Southport. Tiger then talks about ships and his grandfather Henry MacKie's shipbuilding, more about farming, and the first hockey forum. After telling a little about his junior hockey days, he tells about his brother and his feats of strength. Tiger then talks about his attitude and philosophy and more about hockey and his brother. Tiger tells about Evelyn Henry, who swam across the Northumberland Strait, and tells about crossing the ice to Charlottetown to play hockey. He tells more about sailing ships, talks about letters from fans and friends, hockey in Newfoundland, and the Michigan/Ontario hockey league.
