Abstract
This is the last of three tapes with Sydney "Syd" Clay. In this interview Syd talks about his background in the RAF, his paintings of aircraft and aviation history on the Island which were made into a calendar, the pilot Paul Sharpe, the pilot Elton Woodside, pilots Carl Burke and Joe Anderson, Carl Burke's rescues, the Submarine Spitfire and other airplanes, airports on the Island, and his experience as a pilot.
