Abstract
Paul Stordy interviews Mr. Ray McCarvill who has a wealth of knowledge family tree on his mother's and father's side. Mr. McCarvill talks about the occupations held in the early days, the house he grew up in that was partially built by his father, early entertainment organized by the BIS and the changes that came to Emerald community. In addition, he also talks about his school years and the mentions teachers who taught him, the building of a new church and his work in the Riverside Hospital.
