Roy speaks of some of his firsts: buying his first boat, making his first moonshine and his first near death experience. He also talks of his neighbor Ben Miller and how he once stole a keg of rum from his brother Stanley. Roy also talks about work fishing when he was only 12, and about the time he and his good friend George once traded a few glasses of rum for all the supplies, and all the wood a man could ask for in Belle River.

This is the second half of an interview with Rev. Donald Nicholson of Hartsville and Clyde River, P.E.I. In this interview Donald talks about food, family, training to become an ordained minister, quiet Sundays, chores on the farm, horses, going out West on the Harvest Excursion, working in the United States with granite, the Halifax Explosion, cars, radio, airplanes, church, preaching, sleighs, and blacksmiths.

This interview is the fourth and final tape with Wallace "Wally" Jenkins Andrew of East Royalty, P.E.I. Wally begins by telling about how he met his wife Georgie Andrew (nee Matheson). He then talks about the Spanish Flu and the Halifax Explosion, and tells all about the search for what was apparently treasure buried by Captain Kidd. He then talks about selling cream to local ice cream parlours, his milk route, farming, and a finding some hidden rum. Wally then talks about potatoes, turnips, horses, his pet dog, pigs, mixed farms, and tractors. He goes on to talk about indoor plumbing, electricity, mussel mud, Wright's Bridge, Andrew's Pond, clothes, thrashing machines, and television. There is also mention of lime kilns, smoking, dances, and sleighs.

This interview is with Layton Millar of Ellerslie, P.E.I. His wife Olive also partakes in the interview, and there is a period towards the end where his friend Edwin Dennis speaks for a few moments. Layton begins by telling about his family, farming, homemade clothes and goods, and potato farming. He talks about cattle, creameries, grain, pigs, butter, jam, chickens and eggs, meat, and fish. He then goes on to tell about the first tractors, cars, radios, electricity, and telephones. He tells about his mother's work as a mid-wife and home remedies, food, foxes, his work as a rural mailman, Christmas, traveling, and blacksmiths. Also mentioned is church, the Co-op store he and Olive ran, the ice storm of 1956, and the big snow of 1923.
