This is Stella Wallace and Karen Doyle interviewing Sister Ellen Mary Cullen at Mount St. Mary's, where they discuss the Sister's family's immigration, Scottish-Irish relations, family farming, education, and religion. She shares stories from her childhood, items found in a church in the 1950s, and other details of her childhood and family life.

This interview is the third tape of four with Wallace "Wally" Jenkins Andrew of East Royalty, P.E.I. Wally begins by finishing a discussion from Tape Two about his father's Cadillac. He then talks about why it was called The Submarine and mentions another car called The Grasshopper. He then talks about the old roads and trips to New Glasgow, learning to drive, and tells of a car accident involving his father. He then goes on to talk about snowstorms, Wright's Bridge and homes in the area, tractors, and how mills worked. He tells a story about his brother falling off a chimney and talks about his birth, Dr. Jenkins, WWII, marsh mud, rum running, and home remedies. Also mentioned is his mother's boarding and catering business, the Raleigh man, pumpkin rum, Christmas, and Prince of Wales College.

This interview is with Arthur Hughes talking about eggs saving farms because they are good for bartering, the family farm, cattle and cows, differences in growing potatoes, picking and spraying them, the first fertilizers, growing wheat, horses, apple orchards, the Milligan and Morrison race track, fish peddlers, lobster prices and packing, the first tractors and cars, WWI and WWII, the Halifax Explosion, changes in the economy, the Great Depression, and his first trip off the Island.

This interview is with Estelle and Cornelius Patrick "Lenie" Bolger of Summerside, P.E.I. In this interview they talk about their families, how they met, Estelle's background as a barber, Estelle's parents, and ghosts.

This is the last of three tapes with Sydney "Syd" Clay. In this interview Syd talks about his background in the RAF, his paintings of aircraft and aviation history on the Island which were made into a calendar, the pilot Paul Sharpe, the pilot Elton Woodside, pilots Carl Burke and Joe Anderson, Carl Burke's rescues, the Submarine Spitfire and other airplanes, airports on the Island, and his experience as a pilot.

This is an interview with Henry Gallant of Wellington, P.E.I. In this interview Henry talks about several topics including his life growing up in Wellington, the French community, cattle and horse trading, his love of horses, home remedies, meat peddling, beer and rum, dances and house parties, and making friends with a murderer.

This is an interview with Jack and Mary D. (nee MacCaull) Rodd of Charlottetown and Winsloe, P.E.I. In this interview Jack and Mary talk about their family farms, cars, foxes, Bedeque, school, Prince of Wales College, teaching business school, doctors and midwives, Sundays and church, the Boer War, and apple orchards.

This interview begins with Roy telling of his mother's chickens (and "clucking hens") and how she was able to pick out which eggs would be roosters using a candle. They then go one to talk about selling chickens and different breeds. Roy tells a story of a poorly cooked chicken in Halifax, and then continues to discuss his mother's hens and killing chickens. The topic changes to foxes, then to Clow's store, and then on to stories about making moonshine from molasses. The interview continues with more stories about stolen moonshine, and then moves on to the topic of cars. Roy tells all about different makes and models, and tells some stories about different people and their cars. The discussion moves on to the fire at Clow's store and how they lost everything, and ends with a story about Ben Clow making his own blueberry wine.
