Abstract
In this interview with John MacEachern he talks about drownings in Charlottetown, Lake Verde Station, other railways and train wrecks, having no electrical power during the 1930s, changing of German last names, the Harvest Trains/Excursions, blacksmiths, bad roads on PEI, teachers, and school taxes. He also goes on to talk about school memories and concerts, Minnie McGee, his birth, mail sorting and PO boxes, getting a telephone, electricity and a radio, and driving his first car.

Abstract
This interview is with Sterling Robert "Ginger" MacKay and John MacEachern of Charlottetown, P.E.I. The interview beings with Ginger talking about the history of the healing springs and his grandfather. Ginger and John then tell about the different people healed by the springs, the water itself, spirituality, plans for the future, and their long friendship. They then tell about rum running, horse races, snowstorms, driving on the Hillsborough River during the winter, and horses.
