Abstract
In this interview with Mike Avery he talks about his father's general store and the railway system being good for business, a job patrolling the tracks for debris, a trolly accident on the rails in Scotchfot, railway watches, joining the railway, the last person hired, the trucking industry, and trying to get rid of the railway. He continues talking of his time with the railway, stories of some accidents and one of his own, seasons, and all the old train stations that are gone now.
